SUMMARY:Neurology Clinical Trials Are Failing. How Can We Fix Them?
DESCRIPTION:One billion people worldwide suffer from neurological related disorders with limited therapy options. Over 2000 neurological clinical trials start each year in the US alone. Yet\, it is estimated that only 5.9% of Phase I neurology drugs are likely to get FDA approval. \nResearch innovation such as new biomarkers or advanced algorithms often do not get translated into clinical practice\, slowing progress. Adding to that\, the scale\, inefficiency and subjectivity of neurological clinical trials makes them inherently difficult. Neuroimaging analysis is key to developing new therapies for brain disease but it’s difficult to do. \nJoin us for a discussion and audience Q&A hosted by QMENTA CEO\, Vesna Prčkovska. Hear from our esteemed panel of experts who work across the life sciences research\, development and care spectrum how clinical research leaders can take key steps now to transform the way they conduct neuroimaging based clinical trials to position them for success. Seats are limited so register now.

SUMMARY:Life Sciences & Sustainability: Exploring Opportunities with Alexandria Real Estate
DESCRIPTION:Scientific research is one of the greatest drivers of the Boston economy – and\, one of the greatest drivers of greenhouse gas emissions. How will laboratory buildings achieve net zero emissions without putting the squeeze on this critical economic engine? Alexandria Real Estate is often considered to be the gold standard for life science development. They are also setting the gold standard for ultra-low emissions laboratory buildings. How are they achieving this impressive goal? \nJoin the BSA\, Rick Malmstrom of Alexandria Real Estate and Jacob Knowles of BR+A for a Client Conversations exploration of their integrated design work that will achieve this goal\, focusing on the under construction\, 500\,000 GSF core-shell lab in Kendall Square that will approach fossil fuel free for space heating.

SUMMARY:3rd Annual Pharma Supply-Chain & Security World 2021 “Supply-Chain\, Drug Serialization and Anti-Counterfeiting” Virtual Conference and Expo
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Pharma Supply Chain and Security World Summit is now online\, and this time with more focus on optimizing your supply chain challenges to ensure an agile\, responsive\, streamlined and secured supply chain in Global platform. Pharmaceutical companies have to resist the challenges looming from supply chain security lapses to avoid infiltration of counterfeit\, diverted\, and adulterated drugs entering into the supply chain. Apart from having an end to end visibility and traceability within the supply chain\, an effective serialization programs will be a key differentiator and will be a competitive advantage for the pharmaceutical companies. Drug counterfeiting which is not only a global public health risk\, but also harm the quality of the product\, the integrity of the brand\, the economy and even national security. Revenues from the pharma and bio-pharma counterfeit market is estimated to be more than $200 billion. Aligning your anti-counterfeiting strategy with the corporate supply chain strategy should plot a roadmap for implementing anti-counterfeiting measures. \nBoth industry and governments across the world recognising the importance of implementing product serialization\, it becomes obligatory for all entities within the supply chain to comply with federal or state legislations pertaining to the locations in which they operate \nInitiatives focusing on supply chain monitoring\, such as mass serialisation\, track and trace or hologram tagging\, had mixed outcomes\, as counterfeiters are agile and have found ways to bypass the steps quickly. Pharmaceutical companies and regulators are still developing techniques to stop them by creating intelligence led brand protection strategy. This also reveals numerous gaps in the governmental and industry efforts to safeguard global pharmaceutical and bio-tech supplies. \nCorvus Global Events invites you to Pharma Supply Chain & Security World 2021 – Supply-chain\, Drug Serialization And Anti-Counterfeiting virtual conference\, which will have Pharma industry experts sharing various challenges faced\, new strategies\, case studies and use of innovative ideas\, the conference will also offer opportunities to encourage partnerships and collaborations. In this conference you’ll not only discover innovative technologies\, transformation strategies and collaboration methods\, but how best to implement them to optimise your supply chain processes and strategies for drug anti-counterfeiting. \nIt gives us a great pleasure to welcoming you to the 3rd Annual Pharma Supply Chain & Security World 2021. \nKey Highlights \n• Streamlining your supply chain\n• End to End supply chain\n• Designing an optimal supply chain network\n• Developing a sustainable Serialization strategy\n• Integration of track & trace solutions in production and supply chain\n• Smart Packaging\, Labelling\, Artwork\, Warehouse & Logistics\n• Serialization Data and Analytics driven approach to increase supply chain agility\n• Adoption of Blockchain in pharma supply chain\n• Brand Protection & Securing supply chain integrity\n• Global enterprise level solutions for anti-counterfeiting\n• Tackling pharmaceutical crime – initiatives at multinational\, EU and national level\n• IP and regulatory enforcement\n• Synchrony of the Pharma Industry and professional bodies against counterfeiting\n• Understanding and meeting the needs of DSCSA\, EU FMD and other global regulations\n• Strategies for public awareness and patient protection\n• Best practices to protect your brand\n• The role of the Internet in aiding the counterfeiters – How to overcome the situation?\n• Effective Authentication Technologies\n• Best selection of tamper-evident features\n• Developing a RMP for your supply chain to protect your Brand\, Product and Patient Safety\n• The need to understand and adopt new technologies like IoT\, Analytics\, Blockchain\, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence\n• Case study: How companies are structuring their counterfeiting efforts and departments? \nWho should attend the conference? \nAttendees include GMs\, VPs\, Directors\, Heads and Managers of: \n• Pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors\n• Supply Chain management companies\n• Healthcare professionals\n• Pharmacists\n• Serialization\, Track and Trace solution providers\n• Brand protection\, enforcement\, security\, integrity and management companies\n• Healthcare research organizations\n• Pharmaceutical industry professional associations\n• Anti-counterfeiting organizations\n• Packaging & labelling companies\n• Authentication technology suppliers\n• Contract manufacturing organization (CMO)\n• IT service providers\n• Intellectual Property\, investigators and Trademark council\n• Drug regulatory agencies and customs
