SUMMARY:Mansfield Bio-Incubator's Grand Opening of the Phase II expansion and Open House Networking Event
DESCRIPTION:Mansfield Bio-Incubator\, Bioinc\, invites you to the Grand Opening of the Phase II expansion and Open House Networking Event \nJoin us to celebrate\, connect and launch! Our member companies are all right here waiting to meet You! With twenty-one (21) life science companies in place\, we have room for a few more. You will have an opportunity to hear from several of our member companies of the benefits of being part of the growing South of Boston innovation ecosystem. \nCome see for yourself how the Boston/Cambridge biotechnology supercluster now extends south of the city to form a Boston-Providence innovation corridor. Join in the celebration and envision a future for yourself and your company alongside these pioneers. The groundbreaking R&D activities going on within our laboratories are making a lasting contribution to the growth of the life science ecosystem in Southern New England. We are deepening the partnership with Wheaton College’s Diana Davis Spencer Entrepreneurship Center and other universities in the region. Our goal of creating a large campus consisting of R&D and manufacturing facilities is well underway. \nOur Phase II expansion was made possible through Massachusetts Life Science Center’s Capital Program Grant and the matching contribution from a private foundation. Bioinc is celebrating the MLSC commitment to developing the life sciences across the Commonwealth\, which includes the growing Southeastern Massachusetts life science cluster. \nThe new Phase II buildout’s key feature is a state-of-the-art BSL-2 laboratory space. The laboratory project is a renovation of an old glass factory and was built based on the modern concept of the lab design. Mansfield Bio-Incubator is a combination of open and private laboratory spaces seamlessly intertwined with meeting space to stimulate collaboration and creativity. We serve a variety of companies from a single founder start-up to a medium-size company ready to start product manufacturing. \nIn addition to the ribbon-cutting\, the keynote program will feature local\, state\, and federal elected officials\, trade organizations\, and local institutions of higher education. You will hear the pitches from several of Mansfield Bio-Incubator’s member companies working on the groundbreaking projects in oncology\, food science\, women’s health\, animal health and more. \nCome see our world-class lab and hear how the Bio-incubator’s innovative startup companies are transforming the world with game-changing inventions in life science! \nThe grand opening coincides with the opening of a 700 square feet laboratory suite by Phenomenex\, part of Danaher Corporation. The laboratory will have cutting-edge analytical instruments such as mass spectrometers\, UHPLC\, and sample preparation tools and technologies. The high-end equipment will be available to the member companies. Coupled with the decades of scientific expertise\, this lab will serve as an indispensable asset to our current and future startups to turbocharge their projects in a synergistic fashion. \nAgenda: \n10:30 am: Registration\, Networking and Refreshments\n11:00 am: Keynote Program (TBA)\n12:00 noon: Ribbon Cutting\n12:10 pm: Company Presentations\n1:00 pm-2:30 pm: Product Demonstrations\, Continued Networking and Celebrating\, and Facility Tours
