Closing the Health Equity Gap: Pathways to Workforce Development
KPMG is delighted to announce the creation of a series designed to take action to close crucial gaps in health equity in the New England region.
Our first forum will examine the opportunity we must collectively seize to enhance health equity through workforce diversification as the healthcare and life sciences industries are expected to add nearly 100,000 jobs in the region by 2024.
For this first session of the series, join a working consortium of corporate accelerators, government and community health advisors, healthcare and life science executives, and academic leaders during a one-day forum on health equity.
We will discuss health equity challenges, examine barriers to progress, explore tactics that are improving health equity, and discuss solutions and methods for accelerating and scaling enhancements in access to quality care. We aim to identify concrete actions that can be taken to start pulling discrete efforts together from across the New England ecosystem to make progress on critical agenda items.
Senior executives from leading organizations in the greater Boston area will be featured to facilitate dialogue and discussion and convey their thinking, including Vertex, MassBio, MassMEDIC, Boston Medical Center, KPMG, Roxbury Worx, Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, and more.
This will be unlike other events in which you have participated. Prepare to join a continuing working group on Workforce, Philanthropies & Funding, or Optimization of Clinical Trials. All designed to take action, together, for better and more rapid outcomes. Details will be provided leading up to and during the forum.
