Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming healthcare, public health, human services, and research. While these technologies offer tremendous opportunities, between 60-80% of AI projects fail due to issues traced to people, leadership, change management and processes, not technology. This raises important questions about fairness, transparency, privacy, and access.
This Summit convenes Massachusetts health leaders to balance innovation, privacy, and patient safety, where equity and human centered values guide the responsible design and use of AI in healthcare. Participants will leave with practical knowledge, new connections, and actionable ideas for navigating the future of AI in their organizations and communities.
Participants will be immersed with fellow state and community leaders to practice the work of AI governance on actual challenges confronting health organizations today. This is an intentional space to deepen engagement, awareness and knowledge, upskill, and have honest and constructive conversations about early failures in AI adoption that lead to relevant learning and application in their own organizations.
