Perspectives on Health System Strengthening

In this panel discussion three MMSc-GHD alumni will offer perspectives on health systems strengthening. Jafet Arrieta, MD, DrPH, MMSc ’15 is Senior Director and Improvement Advisor, Institute for Healthcare Improvement where she supports international partners in the development and implementation of large-scale quality improvement projects. Zarni Htun, MD, MMSc ’16, is Deputy General Coordinator for Myanmar, Médecins du Monde – France where he manages projects to improve public health services for marginalized populations. Evrard Nahimana, MD, MMSc ’17 is Chief of Party for a World Bank Funded project in Sierra Leone where he is leading a health system strengthening project to reduce maternal and child mortality. Each panelist will speak about their work and then MMSc-GHD Program Director Joia Mukherjee will lead a discussion with panelists and give time for participant questions.
