WuXi AppTec Opens Office in Cambridge, Massachusetts

WuXi AppTec, a leading open-access R&D capability and technology platform company serving the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries with operations in China and the United States, celebrated the grand opening of its innovation hub network office in Cambridge, Massachusetts. A ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a special WuXi forum – “Massachusetts: The Convergence of Science, Capital & Innovation”, was held at the Cambridge Marriott.

The forum also featured keynote addresses and a panel discussion on the symbiotic relationship of the local ecosystem and innovation that featured Josh Boger, Executive Chairman, Alkeus and Susan Windham-Bannister, President & CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center among others.

Counselor Dongbai Ye of the Chinese Consulate in New York, Senior Vice President of WuXi AppTec Inc. and Head of the WuXi Cambridge Office Dr. Richard Soll, Vice Mayor of Cambridge Dennis Benzan and the President & CEO of the MLSC Susan Windham-Bannister, Ph.D. participate in a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the opening of WuXi’s new facility in Cambridge.
