What kind of training and education should I expect?

Certain programs offer a comprehensive introduction to the field of biomanufacturing, a growing field in Massachusetts, and the life sciences. Students will also utilize cutting-edge technology to design and manufacture a wide range of products. 

General competencies and skills trainees will gain include, but are not limited to, clean room / sterilization, quality and regulatory, automation and processes, good documentation practices, career track options, and foundational professional skills. 

This training prepares you for jobs in high demand and could lead to immediate job placement. Career examples include manufacturing technician, maintenance technician, biomanufacturing technician, or biomanufacturing associate.  

Through Pathmaker-validated programs, individuals can receive training stipends and other supporting services to address barriers, including transportation. For many programs, residents only need to fill out a simple form to become enrolled.
