In December, 2011 the Center awarded $2.2 million in loans to three early-stage life sciences companies through the Center’s Accelerator Loan Program. The Accelerator Program provides loans of up to $750,000 to promising early-stage companies engaged in life sciences research and development, commercialization and manufacturing. This was the Center’s fourth round of Accelerator loans.
