The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) and five global biopharmaceutical companies announced today the second round of funding from the Massachusetts Neuroscience Consortium (Consortium). The Consortium, the formation of which was announced in June of 2012 at the Bio International Convention, will fund pre-clinical neuroscience research at Massachusetts academic and research institutions. Participating companies include Biogen Idec, EMD Serono, Janssen Research & Development, LLC and Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Merck & Co., and Sunovion Pharmaceuticals.
