Mediso USA, distributor of the pre-clinical imaging portfolio of Mediso Medical Imaging Systems, a Hungarian developer and manufacturer of multi-modality in vivo imaging systems and the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) announced on May 22, 2013, the establishment of the company, based in Boston, Massachusetts. The new office, located in Boston’s Financial District, will provide an excellent opportunity for Mediso to serve and support the professional and academic user base in North America, including Canada, and especially the life sciences industry in the Massachusetts area. Mediso USA currently expects to grow to five employees over the next year.
Massachusetts officials met with Mediso at the 2013 BIO International Convention last month in Chicago. Mediso is the second company to announce the opening of offices in Massachusetts following this year’s show.
