The MLSC believes that investment in infrastructure, including repositories of scientific data, is required to create and sustain the attributes that make Massachusetts attractive as a global life sciences hub data. The Center provides capital grants for cutting-edge research that generates databases, algorithms, tools, and analyses that support advancing scientific research in Massachusetts data.

Program applicants are required to demonstrate that any MLSC-funded digital assets be made accessible and shared by academic and industry scientists alike. To that end, the Center has made available a searchable database, the Database, Algorithms, Tools, and Analyses (D.A.T.A.) Repository, for companies, research institutions, and all other key stakeholders of Massachusetts to search, find, and engage with our various partners across the Commonwealth to further leverage and access MLSC-funded digital assets. To access our database for shared MLSC-funded equipment resources across the Commonwealth, meet R.E.D. (Research Equipment Database).

The current list, which the MLSC team continues to update with new digital assets, is broken into several sections including the Database/Codebase/Software, description, field of study, methods used, URL, publication details, Massachusetts-funded institute, and point of contact. Interested stakeholders should engage directly with the host institutions to utilize specific database/codebase/software through any existing access policies.

Use the table below to find the URL for the shared MLSC-funded digital asset across the Commonwealth. Use the ‘Filter’ option on the top left corner of the table to filter search results based on: field of study, methods used, publication(s), or institution. You can also do a custom word search using the icon on the top right corner of the table.
