Angus McQuilken from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center joins NECN to discuss a busy time period in the industry.
The state had a strong presence at the BIO International, the annual Biotechnology Industry Organization Convention, this year.
“The Massachusetts pavilion was the place to be, and one of the best attended events was our press announcement, including Gov. Patrick, of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center’s new UP program – it stands for Universal Partnerships, and it’s a program that’s going to fund research and development collaborations between companies in Massachusetts and companies and other life sciences organizations all around the world,” said McQuilken.
