WPI’s Eric Young Develops New DNA Toolkit to Aid Synthetic Biology Research

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) researcher Eric Young has developed a new DNA toolkit to aid synthetic biology research. The collection of DNA “parts” is called openCIDAR and was made possible by the capabilities of WPI’s Cell Engineering Research Equipment Suite (CERES), which was funded by the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC).

The MLSC is proud to have supported CERES with more than $877,000 in capital funding through our Open Capital fund.
